Backwater Performance mufflers are 100% polished stainless steel. All seams are hand tig welded for solid construction and rugged reliability even in the most extreme conditions. They feature a free-flowing, straight-through perforated stainless steel core, stainless baffle plates and acoustical chambers to deliver our famous smooth, deep tone. Mufflers come complete with support brackets and mounting hardware.
The "Q" muffler is our quietest muffler. The unique design has a quiet low/deep rumble through half throttle and then surprisingly, is extremely quiet at full throttle.
The BPS twin mufflers feature a new built in silencer. They are louder than the "Q" muffler with similar performance qualities.
The BPS Single Crossover is our most powerful muffler with extended cylinder cross over tubing that provide just the right length for large and small block engines. The Crossover produces more power than the "Q" and Twins, but are louder.
New models offered after May 2010 are fitted with a new removable silencer baffle. With the baffle, the Single Crossover delivers similar power to the "Q". But when you need a little more power, simply remove the silencer.
